It was the historical day of February 21, 2001 when the Miracle newspaper, the premier spokesman of the Muslim community in the province of British Columbia, shined bright the horizon of BC Journalism. The foundation of this newspaper was laid by then Editor-in-Chief Mr. Nusrat Hussain, in the city of Surrey, BC.
Prior thereto there was no print media to agitate for the primary concerns and aspirations of the local Muslim kinship, which had to depend upon other ethnic newspapers for the reporting of even its trivial concerns.
Since the day of its inception, the Miracle is strenuously covering community related events of the Muslim Ummah, besides creating awareness on the issues of paramount importance. In addition, the Miracle is dedicated to creating harmony with other communities. Presently, the newspaper is managed by Mr. Muhammad Naseer Pirzada and his comrade-in-arms Mr. Muhammad Rafiq, the Hon. Chief Editor and Editor Urdu Section.
