To continue its tradition to encourage the youth to participate in all activities, Miracle Media Group organized the 2nd  Husn-e- Qirat and Naat rasool (saw) competition on February 21 at Afghan Chopan Restaurant and Banquet Hall in Surrey. The date was chosen as the auspicious month of Rabi-ul-Awwal, the month in which our Holy Prophet hammad (SAW) born, was about the begin. The motive was same as every other youth recognition program under the Miracle banner: to encourage the youth of the community to participate.
Each competition was divided in three categories A, B, and C, based on skills and experience: Alhamdulillah, there was an overwhelming response from both youth and their parents right from the day registration opened and auditions began till the last moment of the program. It showed us that our youth is very talented no matter what field it is. It is just a matter of providing them an opportunity to showcase this talent. The interest and eagerness of parents also showed that our community wants to raise children who have both religious and worldly knowledge, which is the key to a balanced personality.
All the participants were informed that they should reach in time and majority of them were in the hall prior to start of the program. Distinguished scholars of the community were chosen as judges. The program started after the Isha prayer following a delicious Dinner which were prepared and served by Afghan Chopan Management. Maulana A.Lateef Naumani delivered the opening speech and introduced the criteria of the competition. He announced both panels of judges and called the Managing Editor of the Miracle Media Group, Mohammad Naseer Pirzada
at the podium to proceed with the planned competition. Mr. Pirzada thanked all the guests, parents and participants. He told everyone about the overwhelming response from parents, attendees and participants of all age groups that began from the day the competition was announced.
He then called the first panel of judges for Qirat competition. Maulana Abdur Rehman, Qari Abdul Haleem, Haiz Sajid Rehman and 4th standby judge Maulana Naumani. 13 participants took part in the Husn-e-Qirat competition,. The pin drop silence in the hall was the proof that audiences were deeply captivated by the beautiful voices of the participants as they recited the words of Allah (SWT).  The second part of the program consisted of Hamd  Bari Ta’ala . Among the participants were Mr. Shams Siddiqui, Mr. Aftab Ghani, Mr. Abdul Hafeez Qadri and Mr. Pirzada.
The last part of the competition was Naat-e- Rasool-e Maqbool. And was judged by Mr. Shams Jilani, Prof. M. Ahmed Qadri, Mr. Azhar Syed.  18 participants were called to the stage, from different age groups. Everyone was moved by the participants’ spiritual and emotional poetry and voice.
Mr. Saleem Khan and Mr. M. Afzal Malik graciously served the tough duty of timekeepers for the competition.
The competition also coincided with the Miracle’s 9th anniversary. While judges complied the results, Mr. Pirzada requested Mr. Nusrat Hussain founder of Miracle Newspaper, Counsel General of Pakistan Mr. Moin Ul Haq (Chief Guest), Mr. Shams Jilani, Mr. Shams Siddiqui, Mr. Azhar Syed, Maulana Naumani to share their thoughts about the program and the paper. He then introduced the latest issue of the Miracle, designed with a new layout and volunteers distributed copies of the newspaper to many guests.
The most exciting part of the program was the announcement of results for the competition. Each section of the contest was awarded separately. Maulana Naumani announced the names of the winners, as the hearts of participants, parents, and their supporters beat fast. The awards were distributed by Hon. Mr. Moin Ul Haq and Mr. Shams Jilani. Mr. Moin ul Haq also distributed awards to sponsors who supported in organizing this spiritual gathering. Major sponsors of this program were Mr. Mahmood Awan (Premier Transmissions) and Mr. Daud A. Qayum (Afghan Chopan). The Miracle Media thanks all the sponsors for their continued support for all our events. We are also thankful to our volunteers who helped us in organizing this event and carry it smoothly.
Beaming faces of young winners were truly the highlight of the evening and we hope to provide such opportunities to our youth whenever possible with support from our community Inshallah.
